My favorite way to control this is by using my laptop to connect to the plug's WiFi AP and then configuring it through the webpage that comes up. Then I can add it to Home Assistant or just interact with it through http requests via Python or the Linux Command line using curl or wget. I feel secure that I'll be able to continue interacting with this device even if the Internet is down.

Delivery from Ameridroid is always surprisingly quick, and of the several mini PC builds I've done with the H4 I've had zero complaints.

It works pretty well, but I can't replace my Google speakers with these until they can be used to play music via Music Assistant.

But otherwise, these are great when an LLM is used as failover.

Nothing compares to the feeling of plugging something in and it working, intuitively guiding you where you expect it to take you.
